Salty Dog Design was proud to create the logo, branding, and website for Celtic Electrical, an electrical company based in Aberystwyth.

We were given a clear brief: design a modern logo that is instantly recognisable as part of the electrical and trades industry, while also including a bespoke icon suitable for social media and vehicle livery. To achieve this, we used a clean, modern sans-serif font for the “CE” initials and incorporated the outline of an electrical socket into the interior of the “C”. This clever cutout maintains the sleek aesthetic of the typeface while reinforcing the company’s industry at a glance.

We paired this contemporary design with a cool palette of blues and teals—colours commonly associated with electricity and technology. These tones were carried through into the website design, where a subtle pulsating effect evokes the flow of electrical current and adds a sense of energy and movement.

The website itself is sleek and modern, featuring smooth animated transitions, prominent call-to-action elements designed with elderly users in mind, and a bold, easy-to-read typeface that ensures accessibility without compromising on visual appeal.
