Salt Marsh Kitchen approached us with the aspiration to revamp their branding, originally crafted on a tight budget back in 2013. Additionally, they sought to establish a premium website that would act as a gateway for potential restaurant patrons. Scott & Lorraine envisioned a blend of sophistication that resonated with the restaurant’s seafood offerings and family-friendly atmosphere.

Salty Dog Design responded by crafting a logo that exudes freshness and contemporaneity, drawing inspiration from Japanese brushwork and iconography. Complemented by the sleek and modern grotesque font, Space Mono, the resulting fusion strikes a perfect harmony between organic appeal and refined elegance. Retaining the blue color palette from the restaurant’s original branding not only ensures continuity with existing clientele but also evokes the serene ambiance of the nearby ocean, thereby reinforcing the establishment’s coastal charm.
